The view on the hillside is magnificent no matter if your in your room, pool, or walking around. There are ramps down to the pool as well as a lift to get you into the pool.
There are two wheelchair accessible rooms and both bathrooms have roll-in showers. Both rooms are vary spacious with living area, outdoor patio, and kitchen. These rooms can accommodate larger parties. One room can sleep 6 people, 8 if using the pull-out couch. The larger of the two rooms has an electric bed with a side-rail that drops down and a grab bar overhead. This feature alone makes this a great place for those who are quadriplegics.
It is a rural location so enjoy the intimacy of this quaint town. The hotel does have a cafe/bar as well as a small shop selling essentials. There is a very good restaurant a little down the road. In addition, there is a new supermarket just 2 minutes from the hotel, offering anything you might need 7 days a week. A short drive is the main area of Loulé where a wheelchair traveler has access to many shops (not all), supermarkets and restaurants. One destination is a must is the beach, which is about a 20 minute drive.
