Located in Bar Harbor, Maine and just four miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park, the Woods of Eden Glampground offers your family and friends a quiet wooded setting for a wonderful “glamping” experience in our wheelchair accessible tent/yurt. If you enjoyed tent camping as a kid, you will love our luxury camping experience with all the extra amenities. The tent/yurt is surrounded by 24-acres of forest filled with Birch, Pine, Oak, Cedar, and Maple Trees, and of course, deer and a variety of birds are frequent visitors. This tent/yurt is available for rent from May to October, with the most quiet period being September and October.

This tent/yurt was specifically designed with space for wheelchair maneuverability and accessibility. The single tent/yurt has a bedroom that can sleep four people with a queen-size bed and bunk-bed, and is wheelchair accessible with large turn around area. The bathroom is designed for access and has a roll-in-shower with a shower chair and gab-bar-rails. There are rails for the toilet as well. The kitchen table is wheelchair accessible with room under for a chair. The sink is not modified, but it should be reachable the way it is. There is only a sink in the kitchen, and all cooking is done on a grill or a hot plate. A parking spot next to the ramp that leads in to the tent.
