Hotel Amenities

• Restaurants & Bars: The hotel’s ground-floor restaurant is fine dining experience with outdoor and indoor seating. A patio looks out onto Las Olas Boulevard where musicians often play. Casual dining and lounging at the bar are also options for guests.
• Doors: The main set of doors located on the river side of the hotel are automatic, but other doors have not been modified.
• Front Desk & Lobby: The entire lobby is seamless tile. A section of the front desk where guest check-in has been lowered. Nearby, the elevators take guests up to their rooms.
• Pool: To access the pool, guest must exit through the automatic doors on the river side of the hotel and proceed across the street to the pool area next to the hotel’s parking area. To enter, guest must use their room key. The pool area is all one level, with covered awnings and table umbrellas for shade and a bunch of lounge chairs. Food and alcoholic drinks can be ordered poolside. A permanently mounted pool lift is on one side of the pool and is equipped with a seatbelt as well as a footrest and armrests. Wheelchair accessible bathrooms are also available at the pool area, and are nice and wide.

ADA Room Details

There are 6 modified ADA rooms in the hotel. Half of these rooms have roll-in showers while the others have a bathtub/shower setup. All of these rooms have a lowered peephole for the door, bathroom grab-bars, a roll-up sink, and a hand-held shower nozzle.

• (1) Room with 2 Double Beds Suite (Executive Tower Suite): Bathtub Shower
• (2) Rooms with 2 Double Beds (Executive Tower): Roll-in Shower
• (1) Room with 1 Queen Bed (Classic Building): Roll-in Shower

Closer Look at Room #1012 (2 Double Beds):

• Door was very light to open.
• For the roll-in shower, I was only provided a portable showering stool chair, which had no back or arms to this chair nor is it mounted for safety.
• Soap shelf in the shower was very small and connected to the hand-held shower nozzle pole. This was not a stable setup.
• Bathroom towel rack was located above the toilet.
• Closet has a lowered clothing rack bar.
• Power outlets are located on the side of bedside lamps and on the desk.
• Space to get onto the beds was only really wide enough in between the two beds. The outer rim on one bed was next to the wall and the other was blocked by a chair.
• The heating and cooling controls were lowered but blocked by a chair.
• The windows have curtain rods that have been extended for a better reach, though the windows are very tall and could be extended more. The windows can also be partially opened.
