Vietnam can be split into three regions: the north, the center, and the south. North Vietnam hosts the capital Hanoi, a metropolis halfway between the traditional way of living and modern lifestyle. Central Vietnam is home to the traditions. Hoi An is a fantastic place to explore but it is also the most wheelchair friendly town in Vietnam. The old town is a UNESCO-preserved site with pedestrian streets. Depending on the season, it will also be the perfect spot for beach days. Hue is also in central Vietnam and is the former imperial city with a beautiful citadel.

Life in South Vietnam is ruled by the great river: the Mekong!  Ho Chi Minh City is the official name of the southern economic (and nightlife!) capital but everybody still calls it “Saigon.” A trip to the Mekong Delta is a must!
