Sonora, Texas Comfort Inn Hotel

Covered front entrance. Entrance doors are not automatic. The floor is tile. The front desk is lowered on one end for wheelchair access. There is an accessible restroom in the lobby. Amenities: Free wifi. Full hot breakfast included with room served in the dining area in the lobby. The outdoor pool (seasonal) did not show a lift but it could be stored for winter. There is a computer with a printer in the lobby for guests’ use. There is a fitness room with free weights but it is small, and space is tight. They advertise a guest laundry but I did not check it.

Stayed in room 111; king bed with roll-in shower. Doorways are 36″ or wider. The door opens with the key card and there is a lowered peephole in the door. The room has ample space to access either side of the bed, but the bed is a bit high (estimate 25-26″). The desk and bath vanity are appropriate heights for wheelchairs. Roll-in shower has a removable plastic shower bench with a back and hand-held shower head. The towel rack and tissue box mounted on the wall behind the toilet are too high. The closet pole is too high. Other room amenities like a TV remote, coffee pot, power outlets, temperature controls, hair dryer, refrigerator, and microwave are within reach.
