Sharon Springs Park in Cumming, Georiga is on my top 10 list now for sure. Has all sorts of sport fields for baseball basketball courts also has a commissioners office so there’s several places that have bathroom locations and they’re all the same as what I’ve sent before the standard 80 accessible bathrooms. I can certainly take pictures if you need me to.

I would say mainly people come here for the sports, but I come here for the nice almost a mile loop under the trees paved walkway. Keep in mind again in Georgia every path you’re going to need a power wheelchair because there’s lots of hills. Also roots coming up on the concrete and you can see that in the pictures.

  • Tons of parking in each section again has accessible spots at each division area of the park. There is regular accessible spots and also van accessible spots.
  • Dogs are allowed on leash.
  • There is a really cute playground for kids, two locations for this and they have that neat recycled rubber floor.
  • They also have a learning trail which is really common in Georgia and you can see my picture there with the educational signs. It encourages kids to pay attention to their senses so usually something like what do you hear do you hear the birds what do you see do you see the trees those types of things.

I have had the pleasure of getting to see everything imaginable on the West Coast with my hiking, camping nature loving family. In my 20s I was able to travel around the world and can say I have lived on every continent besides Antarctica. Have been living out in Georgia for the last two years exploring the East Coast!
