Barney’s Place Gold Coast is a modern contemporary styled home featuring a living area with a large leather lounge suite and home entertainment system complete with a 50″ plasma TV with Foxtel (cable TV). Barney’s Place also has a privacy curtain which can be drawn to turn the living area into a theatre media room/extra bedroom.
The family kitchen area flows onto an expansive covered entertainment deck with lounge, dinning, TV and heated spa. From the deck you have water and city skyline views along with access via stairs down to a little private sandy beach area were you can fish or just soak up the sun. There are 3 bedrooms all with their own heating/cooling systems and LCD TV, the main bedroom has a King size bed with deck access and water views, the second bedroom includes Queen size bed with 2 King single beds with privacy curtain perfect for the kids hangout, bedroom 3 comes with an electric inclining king single bed that can be lowered and raised this room has direct access to a roll in shower/toilet room. (All beds have clearances of 150mm to accommodate lifting hoist)
There are 2 bathrooms, 1 of which caters for people with a disability or wheelchair dependent, the bathroom has a roll in shower, and fold down shower seat also a mobile shower commode, Australian Standard accessible toilet and rails with excellent turning circle.
There is even have a wheelchair accessible Toyota van with hoist and dual sliding doors which is available for hire.

HINT ……..FOR ROAD TRAVEL IN AUSTRALIA.
Travelling from Brisbane Queensland to Melbourne Victoria I found that best place for toilet breaks was going to MacDonald or hungry jacks to use their disabled wash rooms which on the whole were clean and set up properly with easy access etc.
The state governments also have a site to access all the public toilets.
