When staying here, nearby public transportation and free cross city public shuttle stop close by. Since the home is close to Stanford University and Hospitals, the property could be used not only for a vacation rental, but also for rehabilitation if someone is coming to Stanford Hospital for treatment.

About the Home
The ambiance of the home is light and airy for executive stays and families for up to 7 guests. To start, the home is barrier-free. There are no curbs, steps, or stairs to get to the entrance, and the path through the entryway is flat. It is a multi-story building, but both the front door and unit entrance have no curbs, steps or stairs. Doorways are least 32 inches wide, and in some cases 34.5 inches wide, with grab-bars installed in the hallways. Some lighting inside the home is controlled by remote. The HVAC system controls are not lowered.
Spacious bedrooms and separate office-study attached to the master bedroom. Another office-study is located in the living room. A modern kitchen opens to the family room, alcove office-study and patio. The outdoor patio is idea for entertaining, and there are three relaxing fireplaces to cozy up with a book. In the kitchen, the height of the oven has been raised and the microwave has been lowered, so more will be able to access them. The stovetop burner controls are within reach for someone in a wheelchair.
3 Bedrooms (5 Beds)
All bedrooms and great room are Ethernet hard wired (cables provided), so no dropped WiFi signals. Air purifiers in each bedroom. The first bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Another room has 1 queen bed, and the last room has 1 double bed. The final bed in the house is a hospital stye bed; an extra pull-down Murphy bed is nearby in the study.
2.5 Bathrooms
The area surrounding the toilet has at least one grab bar that’s bolted or otherwise firmly attached to the wall. On the wall near the toilet is the control panel for the bidet seat, and includes a heated seat, warm water for rear and front rinsing, and a dryer too. The sink is a roll-up. The shower has at least one grab bar that’s bolted or otherwise firmly attached to the shower wall. Next to the roll-in shower is towel warmer.
The roll-in shower is barrier-free with two shower-heads, including a hand-held shower nozzle. There is no threshold or step between the shower and bathroom floor. A portable shower wheelchair is also provided for the roll-in shower. Next to the roll-in shower is the handicap accessible tub, which has a Jacuzzi feature along with an emergency evacuation system just in case. The other bathroom has a bathtub-shower combo with a hand-held shower nozzle, and no other modifications.
